About The Author 

Mrs. S. Damayanti Devi, MA, B.ed., is a Vice Principal of TG Higher Secondary School and President, Home Science Association, Manipur. She is teaching Home Science and also conducted training cum demonstration on various aspects of food processing. She also participated in many seminars, conference, workshop and skill training. She also organized many training for women, rural youth and AWW workers for improving nutritional status and income of the family, society as a whole.

Y. Prabhabati Devi, M Sc, Ph.D, B.ed, M.ed, NET, SRF, is a Subject Matter Specialist  (Home Science) at KVK, Chandel, ICAR, Manipur centre. She has published various research papers in the national and international journal. She also participated and presented papers in numerous academic seminars, conference, workshop and training. She also organized many skills and vocational training. She also published many leaflets, poster and popular article on processing of fruits and vegetables.
